When the one-shot reception came out, being reasonably accepted, he was able to keep up with his vision. Some parts of the story did not fit into Weekly Shonen Jump, but Shirai did not want to take them at all. The Promised Neverland was not something planned for Weekly Shonen Jump, so it was difficult to decide together with the publisher which parties should stay and which ones should leave.

From that time on, the author planned to let someone else draw, for even if he could draw alone, the editors felt that his drawings did not do justice to the plot he had prepared and that he could not make a good series by taking care of both the script and the art. So it was difficult to convince Jump to give the pair a chance, but Demizu relied on her partner's talent. The author already knew the art of the designer before that and explained what he liked best in her art, and was very happy when she designed his one-shot story because the result was better than he expected.Īt that time, Shirai was a complete stranger. Shirai fell in love with Posuka's artwork, just as Posuka fell in love with Shirai's writing. Posuka used to get rather bored while reading scripts, but she said that all 300 pages were so interesting that she could not stop. According to him, "the two fell in love with each other." Posuka met with Kaiu, she read the entire script in one go. The editor was also responsible for joining the duo, testing them together with a One-Shot called Popy's Wish. Takushi Sugita, the current editor of the series, was on the project with Kaiu, before Posuka Demizu entered. Since he had not been able to summarize it, he ended up preparing 300 pages, a gigantic amount. He thought of giving up, telling himself that he had no talent like Mangaka, but ended up trying one last time, making a story called "Neverland," just to know if his story was good or bad, like the ones he had prepared before. Before The Promised Neverland was developed, he tried to create several stories, but all were rejected. This also brings me to my dislikes of this series.After graduating from a university, Kaiu Shirai worked in a company that had no connection with the manga. However, when they were in the promised forest they were back to zero knowing nothing about where they were again. At the beginning of the first arc, we knew nothing about *slight spoiler* the demon world, but the main characters still managed to pass that obstacle. The best thing about this series though, is how little we knew about this world. Lewis is my favorite, even though at first, a too much powerful villain might be boring, I found the final fight in Goldy Pond being satisfying, and when we see his backstory and how he affects the *slight spoilers* demon world later on in the last arc really made me like him even more. Isabella was still amazing though, paralleling Emma’s journey but one fatal thing made them so different from each other. So, many people’s favorite villains were Isabella, but I actually liked Lewis more.
I haven’t much to praise about them, everyone knows they’re amazing as a trio. They’re all unique in some ways, and I loved seeing how they were going to solve anything that would stand in their way- even with sacrifices. Utilizing their quick-wittedness, the children must work together to somehow change their predetermined fate. But one day, two top-scoring orphans, Emma and Norman, venture past the gate and unearth the harrowing secret behind their entire existence. There is only one rule they must obey: do not leave the orphanage. Their daily lives involve rigorous tests, but afterwards, they are allowed to play outside. No child is ever overlooked, especially since they are all adopted by the age of 12.
At Grace Field House, life couldn't be better for the orphans! Though they have no parents, together with the other kids and a kind "Mama" who cares for them, they form one big, happy family. It’s time for the review! I’m not to good at them, but I’ll try my best!
